The Morning Ritual

Start your day with intention, a moment of peace, and the perfect cup.

Craft Your Perfect Morning

The first cup of coffee is more than just a caffeine boost; it's a ceremony. It's the quiet moments before the world wakes up, the rich aroma filling your kitchen, the comforting warmth of the mug in your hands. We believe in elevating this daily ritual with tools and beans that honor the craft.

A Simple Pour-Over Guide

  1. Heat Your Water: Bring your water to around 200°F (93°C), just off the boil.
  2. Rinse the Filter: Place a paper filter in your pour-over cone and rinse it thoroughly with hot water. This removes paper taste and preheats your brewer.
  3. Grind Your Beans: For pour-over, a medium-fine grind (like table salt) is ideal. Use about 20g of coffee for 320g of water.
  4. The Bloom: Add your ground coffee to the filter, create a small well in the center, and pour just enough water (about 50g) to saturate the grounds. Let it "bloom" for 30-45 seconds. This releases CO2.
  5. The Pour: Slowly pour the remaining water in a circular motion, ensuring all grounds are evenly saturated. Aim to finish your pour around the 2:30-3:00 minute mark.
  6. Enjoy: Once the water has dripped through, remove the filter, pour your coffee into your favorite mug, and savor the moment.
