Rooted in the Land of Origins
ethiopiques coffee was born from a desire to share the authentic, unparalleled taste of Ethiopian coffee while changing the way it is traded. As the natural origin of Arabica, Ethiopia offers a unique heirloom diversity found nowhere else on earth.
We partner directly with smallholder farmers and cooperatives in celebrated regions: Yirgacheffe (famed for floral and citrus notes), Sidamo (known for full body and berries), and Harrar (famous for mocha and spicy notes). These partnerships ensure that farmers are rewarded for their incredible skill.
Processing at Origin
We believe that the value of the bean should stay where it grows. Unlike most brands, our coffee is fully sourced, roasted, and packaged in Ethiopia. This radical principle creates sustainable careers and economic growth for local communities.
Our roasting team in Ethiopia develops profiles that highlight the distinct regional character of each lot. Whether it's the clean, tea-like body of a washed Yirgacheffe or the complex, dark chocolate notes of a natural Harrar, we deliver the most authentic flavor possible.
